FELTING WORKSHOPS FOR HEALTH, WARMTH & HAPPINESS with Helen Pillot de Chenecey
Learn new skills and make something warm and woolly with your friends & colleagues!
A Craft Revolution workshop will introduce you to needle felting, which is a super easy technique to pick up. It's like painting with wool and you can turn your picture into a warm and cosy hot water bottle or put it in a lovely box frame.
Having worked as a textile designer & colour forecaster, my passion for colour & beautiful textiles is woven throughout my work, as well as a strong belief in the therapeutic benefits of working with your hands.
I ran a series of workshops (National Lottery Community Funded) with the women at NIWBH & Safehaven Women community outreach; exploring how textile craft can benefit mental & physical health. Here's a video of a session!

The health benefits of craft are well documented and include relief from stress & anxiety, relaxation, increased confidence; as well as improved concentration, problem solving skills and a comforting connection with tradition.
Working with colour & texture is super uplifting... Book a workshop for your team to see for yourself!
